Welcome to v2026, the newest incarnation of drewbarontini.com.

The last time I redesigned was in March of 2024. Before that, I released versions in 2020 and 2018. I’ve been experimenting and keeping drewbarontini.com fresh for as long as I’ve been doing web development. So, quite a long time. It’s my special corner of the internet. I wish more people were designing personal websites to represent their unique tastes.

v2024 of this site was created when I was “creating content” online. It was very tech-forward, full of gradients, and designed around sharing more online.

v2026 is completely different. It’s about natural, organic growth, thinking, and development. It’s focused on my method of learn-in-reality thinking within emergent environments. It’s the result of evolved thinking and growth over the past two years of writing my newsletter. It brings both of my core systems, Claritorium and Equilio, closer to the surface. And it provides space to explore ideas, write long-form posts, and share what I’m thinking.

Design Notes

Colors. I swapped dark, high-contrast colors for light, natural ones. I built light and dark versions on a simple palette of five colors: background, foreground, accent, muted, line.

Fonts. Instead of Outfit and Inter, I’m using Newsreader and DM Sans.

What’s Next?

I’ll keep iterating. As always. I hope for this to be a space in motion.
